Arrival at Cochin & Proceed to Munnar – (130 Kms – Approx
4 Hrs)

  • On arrival at Cochin, proceed to Munnar. A breathtakingly beautiful - haven of peace
    and tranquility which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas. Situated at 1,600m
    above sea level with unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and
    mountains, you’re often up above the clouds watching veils of mist clinging to the
    mountain tops. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the
    Neelakurinji/Strobilanthes. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every
    twelve years, will bloom next in 2018. On the way to Munnar visit Cheeyappara &
    Valara waterfalls. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps. Valara
    has a chain of waterfalls surrounded by thick green forests. Enroute Spice plantation
    tour. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Munnar Full Day Sightseeing Tour

  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National
    Park (ticket price extra) & Mattupetty Dam (ticket price extra), a storage concrete
    gravity dam built in the mountains. Mattupetty offers many fascinating sights to
    relish. Besides the tea plantations & the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in
    and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds.
  • Later visit Kundala Dam (ticket price extra), the famous Neela Kurunji flowers
    which bloom once in twelve years, bloom in the hills and valleys around Kundala
    lake.
  • Enroute visit Echo Point & Pothamedu View Point. Echo Point always has a
    greenish look as it is covered with abundant green sceneries. View Point is
    perfect to enjoy the spectacular beauty of the coffee, tea & cardamom
    plantations. They are an adventurous destination, which will be a perfect choice
    for those who love to have a nature walk or trekking. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Transfer from Munnar to Thekkady - (85 Kms - Approx 3

  • After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Thekkady.
  • Thekkady is considered as a heaven for natural spices. The Periyar forests of
    Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Periyar encompasses 777
    sq km & a 26-sq-km artificial lake.
  • Check-in at hotel & later head out for sightseeing to visit the Periyar Wildlife
    Sanctuary (ticket price extra), it is home to herds of wild Elephants, Sambar,
    Tigers, Gaur, Lion-tailed Macaques, Nilgiri Langurs & more. The place can
    sometimes feel a bit like Disneyland-in-the-Ghats, but its mountain scenery &
    jungle walks make for an enjoyable visit. Evening enjoy the boat cruise in the lake
    (at additional cost) to spot wild animals. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Transfer from Thekkady to Alleppey - (135 Kms - Approx 4Hrs)

  • After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Alleppey which has an immense
    natural beauty and is also known as the “Venice of the East”. It is famous for
    backwater cruising and boat race. Check into your hotel/houseboat & cruise (if
    staying in houseboat) through the Narrow Canal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut
    Lagoons and Coir Villages in Alleppey. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Transfer from Alleppey to Kovalam (160 Kms - Approx 4.5 Hrs) With Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple
  • After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to Trivandrum, city of the Holy Ananth which is named after Ananthan, the cosmic serpent with a thousand heads. Visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (260 yrs old) - the most religious icon of the city built by the Travancore Royal family, here the deity Padmanabha reclines on the sacred serpent & is made from over 10,000 salagramam (sacred stones) that were transported from Nepal by elephant. Later proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach destination with three adjacent crescent beaches & also known as the "Paradise of the South". On arrival check in at the hotel & relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. By evening explore on your own to see how the everlasting sea touches the everlasting sky. Kovalam is the place where one can see the golden sand at the day time & silver sand in the night, with high rock promontory & a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlight nights. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day Sightseeing of Kanyakumari
    • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kanyakumari, a town enveloped by majestic hills and scenic sea-shores, adorned with coconut trees and lush paddy fields. En route, make a stop at Suchindram, a sacred site situated along the banks of the river Pazhayar. In Kanyakumari, pay a visit to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial (entrance fee required), a revered monument believed to be the site where Goddess Kanyakumari undertook her Tapas. Next, explore the Thiruvalluvar Statue, a monumental tribute to Thiruvalluvar. The pedestal of the statue stands at 38 feet tall, while the statue itself towers at 95 feet, making for a grand total of 133 feet for the entire sculpture. In the evening, return to Kovalam for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Transfer from Kovalam to Kochi for Departure
    • After breakfast, check out from hotel & driver towards Kochi. Upon arrival you will be dropped to airport / railway station for your onward journey and back to home with beautiful memories of God's Own Country

2. Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
3. It is advisable to get a health check- up done prior to travel to Ladakh, as well as carry appropriate & required medicine as advised. At the time of booking, it will be assumed that the suggested health check up has
been done/ will be done by the customer prior to travel.

  • Hotel

1. In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
2. A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room & the third occupant of the room shall be provided a
mattress/rollaway bed.

  • Tours and Transfers

1. Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
2. Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
3. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary.The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified, in case of any changes post confirmation additional cost may be applicable on the basis of changes done (to be borne by the customer)
4. Itinerary changes are subjected to availability of tours, weather conditions and operational possibilities
5. Any Tour if missed due to closure or maintenance issues, all efforts will be made to cover the sightseeing, time permitting.
6. Due to operational reasons, the routing of the tour may be amended. However, all mentioned services will remain unchanged.
7. As Leh is the base town for all connecting towns in Ladakh, there is a possibility that a few sightseeing will be mentioned multiple times in the itinerary, it is up to the customer if he wishes to see the same again, time permitting. However no refund will be provided in case the same has not been covered the second time, as no additional amount is being charged for the same.

  • Hotel
  1. At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
